An adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP) works with patients from young adults to seniors, focusing on aging and how it affects the body. Generally, people who pursue this path choose between working in acute care settings, like hospitals or other facilities, or primary care, in doctor’s offices and clinics. In Michigan, AGNPs work under the supervision of a doctor to diagnose, treat, and care for adults of all ages in various settings.

People looking for AGNP programs in Michigan have many options, from programs focusing on primary and acute care to those offering doctorate degrees.
